Post Shootout at Lokhandwala, it’s pouring films for Rohit Roy. Apparently, the actor has signed three films with Karan Razdan which will be produced by various producers. According to reliable sources two un-named films will be produced by good friend Sanjay Gupta and directed by Karan Razdan. The third film, Mittal vs Mittal, in which Rohit stars opposite Rituparna Sengupta, is produced by SFL Productions.

In Mittal vs Mittal, Rohit will play a flamboyant character who ends up turning negative in the film. The film is a dramatic thriller about a couple living in a metro.

Says an excited Rohit, “After Shootout at Lokhandwala, where people saw me as Fattu the gangster, I have been getting different kinds of offers. Mittal vs Mittal is a very realistic film about urban relationships. I play a suave guy who is educated abroad and everything is just perfect about him. However, there is a certain mystery about this guy, and this is what brings the twist in the tale. I have never done this kind of role earlier. It has a fantastic hard-hitting script.”

Adds Rohit, “My character seems flamboyant but there is something edgy about him. Basically he is a good guy with a little bit of bad in him. Karan is a good friend and an easy person to work with so I am doing the film with him.”
Rohit is planning do some bit of home work for the movie by meeting some people who are similar to the character he is playing.

The shooting for the movie will commence on August 12 and will be wrapped up by October. For the outdoor schedules, the unit is likely to go to Maldives.

Rohit is currently shooting for Alibaug and has completed directing Rice Plate. And is also co-producing Pankh along with White Feather Productions.
