Popular medical drama, Sanjivani that premiered in 2002 is all set to make a comeback on the television screens with a reboot version. The show will star Ishqbaaz fame Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna as the lead in the new season. The first look of Surbhi Chandna is out and her fans are super excited for her comeback. Rohit Roy recently posted a picture with Surbhi Chandna on his social media account and it seems it is of their look from the show.

Rohit and Sayantani Ghosh are the new addition to the show. Yesterday (June 14) Producer Siddharth P Malhotra shared a group picture as they started to work on the show.

Seasoned actor Mohnish Behl and Gurdeep Kohli Punj, who featured in the original series will also return to the show.
While talking about the show with Mumbai Mirror Producer Siddharth P Malhotra went on to reveal that he had auditioned 70-80 girls before finalising Surbhi. He also added that this time the leads will play resident doctors and not interns.
Sanjivani aired between 2002 to 2005. The show revolve around four medical interns and their professional and romantic lives. It was a hit among the viewers.
